HDV 24p short film 10-14 minutes. Comedy.
Producer/Director: David Burgis
The short is a literary black comedy to be sent to festivals. After a family tragedy splits two sides of the family together, a new generation meets and creates a new way in life.
Seeking 5 Female Roles:
Deanne - Lead Role
30s-early 40s. Polished, tanned, well-dressed.
Someone stuck in another time. In a loveless marriage, obsessed with class and style.
Tracey – Lead Role
30s-early 40s. Short-shaggy hair, strong.
Obsessed with the paranormal, and finding herself, interests which she uses for dating.
Fanny May Wilson – Supporting
40s-60s. Midwestern looking.
The mother of Deanne and Tracey
Young Deanne – Supporting
8-13.
Very proper.
Young Tracey
8-13.
Loud and funny.
Seeking 3 Male Roles:
Marcus – Lead role
Late Teen’s-early 20s.
WASPy upbringing, but with aspirations towards a Salinger/Fitzgerald lifestyle.
Anson – Lead role

Zacharie Wilson – supporting
40s-60s. Friendly, Midwestern looking. Should be comfortable in overalls.
